Foreclosure filings down in August in Lee County

According to statistics released by the Southwest Florida Real Estate Investors Association lenders filed 834 foreclosure lawsuits in August in Lee County. This number is down from the previous month’s 882 and less than half the 1,692 registered in August last year.
